Arthritic Patches Plug the Leak

I was showing this great couple a home for sale in CT. It is, of course, yet another short sale. The owners are in foreclosure and this is the last attempt to sell it before they go under. As we toured the home, we noticed that although it had great potential, it needed a lot of TLC. The house had 4 bathrooms, and all but 1 of them leaked. Interestingly enough, the bath that didn't leak wasn't one that was even used in the house. The shower was used for clothing storage and the vanity top and sink were removed and replaced with a blue vinyl covered board, that acted as a dressing table.
When we toured the home, we noticed many water stains and holes on the ceiling above. I noticed one hole was patched with a funny patch. I looked a little closer and noticed that it was patched with a Lidocain patch, the same patch that my Dad puts on his arthritic knees. Boy, is he going to love this story. Another use for those good 'ol patches.
